Noam Pikilney and Friends with Aoife O'Donovan

Amazing show! And now I'm inspired to learn these songs.  Aoife's voice so light and her use of jazz timing keeps things from feeling predictable or too happy.  And lord knows folk music can't be happy...





This is a Tom Waits song about an impossible romance and is heart-wrenchingly sweet.
